"Mid-way" - What's the story of the year for you? Tell us your story so far, mid-way into it! Where do you think this story will take you?
2025 will be a story I would tell in two halves. On THIS day, mid-way into the year, I am rolling up my sleeves and my pants, for a new adventure! I am, in what I can best describe as the messy, beautiful middle!
You will soon hear all about it. Promise!
Mid-way. It’s the pause at the bend of the road. Not quite the beginning, not yet the end. It’s a moment to catch your breath, glance back, and peek ahead.
This is your half-time reflection.
The chapter in the book where you, the protagonist, are in motion. There’s conflict, hope, growth, uncertainty—and there’s a plot still unfolding.
Look at the year so far.
What has this story been like for you?
Has something begun and found momentum?
Are you navigating through change?
Are you in the thick of something personal or professional?
Have you been seeking clarity or facing doubt?
Have you already lived a whole lifetime in these few months?
Mid-way stories often don’t have neat resolutions. And that’s the beauty of them. They show you who you are when the outcome is still unknown.
Share that story today.
Tell us where you are, how you got here, and where you think you’re going. Don’t worry about wrapping it up just yet.
How to Use This Story?
Mid-way stories are powerful for reflection.
Use this moment to take stock of your year so far—not to judge or fix anything, but to simply witness it.
Write to yourself, or speak aloud to a friend.
Use this story in a journal entry, a social media post, or as a letter to your future self.
Sometimes, just documenting the mid-way helps you find direction for the rest of the journey.
Storytelling Tip:
Not all stories need an ending. Let this one sit with its open loops and unanswered questions. Let the pauses, the pivots, and the unfinished bits breathe on the page.
Mid-way stories remind us that we are in progress—and that’s a story worth telling too.
